We are working closely with the Iowa Department of Public Health and CDC, as well as local public and private partners to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our county.
Every-day prevention methods are extremely important:
- Wash your hands frequently.
- Stay home even when mildly ill (the kind of illness that normally wouldn’t prevent you from your everyday activities).
- Wear a mask.
- Cover coughs and sneezes with an arm or tissue.
- Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, countertops).
Check out more information on wearing masks at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html
